A space with containing the core essence of
the tradition of a Japanese restaurant,
passed down from generation to generation.
By inheriting WATAHAN and pushing
the envelope in polishing the traditon, what is eventually
found is a sense of beauty, "SABI", which comes from flawed beauty
observed on the surface of remains. Removing the walls and the ceilings,
WATAHAN was reborn as a place which represents the delecate Japanese sense
of beauty, and the transitioning of the seasons.
The garden, bathed in natural light and the sigh of the wind,
as well as the kitchen, which gives out sound and heat,
create the space with a sense of openness and unity,
letting valuable time pass.
DINING
From the main hall, there is a traditional Japanese garden
visible as far as the eye can see from a spacious picture window.
A high ceiling gives a sense of spaciousness in the dining area. A wide range of wines and dishes can be enjoyed while looking at the traditional Japanese garden from the big window and feeling the beautiful seasons. In addition, the open style kitchen brings you close to the culinary performance, and the sound and the scents strengthen a sense of unity of all the elements in the room.

The tea room for hospitality, the quietly-lingering lantern, and the elaborately-built stone wall, which offer a sense of beauty that is carefully shrewd. In addition, there is a large plum tree and a cherry blossom tree to reflect the splendor of all seasons.
